Schroeder s Flowers
Schroeder s Flowers has been proudly serving its customers for over the past 100 years. Founded in 1899 by award winning German florist Carl Meier and his wife Louise, the first shop was located at 328 Pine Street in downtown Green Bay. By 1903 Carl sent for Otto Schroeder who arrived from Germany shortly thereafter. The business became known as The Meier-Schroeder Florist Co. and moved to its present location at 1530 S. Webster Ave. The business soon became the largest of its kind in Northeastern Wisconsin. By 1917 the business joined the Florists Transworld Delivery system, and which is now ranked in the top 100 among the 24,000 FTD members nationwide.
